Haven't laughed so much in ages mate. In fact I'm still pi55in meself thinkin about it - that one will keep me in chuckles for a few years to come, I can tell you.

When I thought about it later on, I realised that the lad would have had to had just about every panel off the car to fit the LEDs - no small task. But the thought of him determinedly drilling all of these matt-black panels and meticulously wiring the whole thing up, thinking about how cool and trick it'd look once finished just cracked me up again, so I pi55ed meself a second time. I mean, you'd have to be pretty sure that it'd look cool before you started drilling holes in your roof for chrissakes - and I'll bet he swears it goes better what with all the weight saved...

Years ago, I hope you mean early 80's

lot of the Ford Pop guys had a red fog light under the car & above the axel to show off the plating on the axel, fortunatly that craze has gone now.
