Katie is still there for entertainment value. Gazal was just a waste of space, she had no discernable personality or drive or ability other than to sit in the back of the voyager and look bored.
The Apprentice is about entertainment and keepijg the interest over quite long period of time as well as finding his next whipping boy or girl.

I have got the jist of it this year, Last year I critisised Alans every decision, but as a shrewd business man he is managing the show for best entertainment value. He has a good idea from the offset who will win but keeps the other mugs hanging on and the more outrageous or contraversial they are the better
It helps keep the ratings up. Alan is no mug.

I didn't say they were good, analfelcher, I suggested if the target market were asked to make a choice, they would have chosen the JAM brand. This was what Sugar should have based the result on, as opposed to his own out of touch opinions on da street, or the ponces from the advertising agency.
The criteria for the task was to create a brand and market it to sell. Not to create a brand and please a load of ponces from an advertising ageny.

kick- out of Gazal for being a dull performer with no mind of her own and lack of initiative/ideas. She was a back-bencher, hiding behind other faces. her clock was ticking. I think that Cambridge Uni passed hip-hop dancer has naturally succeeded to impress Alan Sugar. Seems justified until he ***** up as well, who knows

Tre's OK only because he does not mince his words which always makes me smile. As usual though, it's the ones who are the more silent ones who come through - trick is to be a team leader and win - then you are off the hook for a few weeks in most cases.
Always thought and still do that reading AS is virtually impossible. One week he'll admire someone who stands up for themselves whether they are right or wrong. The next he'll criticise someone for standing up for themselves when they are wrong.
The trainer idea was good - but then selling to someone like AS is hardly going to be the target market - so if you are smart you tailor the add to him, less so the purchasers of the trainers. I have to say that when the winning team presented to the ad agency, I was shocked she was reading from a script. Blimey - we can all do that but it looked so poor and unprofessional, I was amazed they let her do it. If you cannot talk about your product passionately without referring notes, - you cannot talk about your product!
