Time schedule
I have e-mailed brocks with the car passes and he is to distribute them.
Entrance to the Park will be via the Avenue Road gate which is opposite Howard Abrahams garage on the Moira Road out of Lurgan.
Could you ensure that you have your Car Park Pass and entry fee of £10 per adult at hand as you enter the gate to ensure that there are no delays.
The rally gets under way at 10.45 (start ramp),
11.00 Stage 1 Start
11.35 Stage 2 Start
12.20 Stage 3 Start
12.55 Stage 4 Start
14.00 Stage 5 Start
14.35 Stage 6 Start
15.30 Stage 7 Start
16.05 Stage 8 Start
The car park is in the football field which is accessed across the loose section on stage 5 & 6 which will be used between 14.00 and 15.00.
We would therefore ask you would be in the park before 12.00 to enable the setup of stage 5 and you will not be able to leave until the finish of 6.
We would of course prefer it if you were in before the start of the rally.
Trophies for best at show etc. have been arranged and your club will decide on the winners.
Could you please ensure that while in the park you refrain from performing doghnuts etc. as there will be other spectators about and the last thing we need is a complaint to the Council and the withdrawal the use of the park next year.

i dont think the park has to worry about anybody in the scoobynet forums doing donuts so be rest asured they shall be on there best behaviour as per normal driving.

Please rest assured that if there is any unacceptable driving behaviour within the park this year the privilage of getting access next year will definitely be withdrawn. So it is up to you whether you want to spoil it for everyone else.
The request from brocks for admission to the park stated that:-

Just wanna reiterate that what I posted before was true. This is NOT a boy racer type event, we are there as an added attraction for the event and have been very graciously accepted by the organisers as such. Dont bother adding your name to the list if you cant behave.....
I know I dont need to post this to the respctable Scoobynetters on this site,but if you have friends and colleagues from other sites joining us then make sure they are aware....
Roll on saturday....this has been one of the biggest threads on this section in months so I know what it means to a lot of you out there....lets make sure it lives up to expectations and we give a good showing of irish Scoob enthusiasts.....

This is going to be one hell of a day my kids are getting on like its christmas eve.
I would be great if this was to become the scoobynet ireland yearly meet just think how the numbers would grow.
I honestly cant see anybody wanting to spoil this for the rest of us and knowing the pride we have in our cars im sure doughnuts will be the last thing on our minds ( tho ive heard brocks could eat a few lol )

Ok folks here it is timetable for the day......
0800 meet up Castle Car Park Carrick
0815 convoy to Seacat
0830 arrive Seacat
0845 convoy to Sprucefield
0930 arrive sprucefield
0945 convoy to Lurgan Park ( Gate C entrance )
1015 arrive Lurgan Park and stage cars for show
1045 cuppa tea time LOL
1100 Rally stage one starts
I know this means a very early start for the day, but anyone can join at any of the meeting points, pr make up your own and join at the Sprucefield meeting point as it is the last one before entering the park in convoy.....I have left a bit of time in for the inevitable , and as such we can afford to leave Sprucefield slightly later.... but dont for get everyone will be trying to get into Lurgan at the same time folks.......
Guess the most important time for everyone is the 0930 Sprucefield meet up time....
Wanna try and get as many people together there as possible, would like to get all the cars sorted out into colour before starting off the convoy as it will save rearranging them on arrival at the park. Gonna do all rally blue together followed by mica blue, then black, then red then white the silver then green then any other colurs available.......thats the plan anyway, if it works it will be the biggest miracle since me being fit to run Santa Pod drag strip on sunday morning LOL

Sorry if I offended anyone with my previous post, especially bushiwarrior, as it was not meant to be personal.
Its just that we rely on the Craigavon Council for the use of the park and would not like anything to jepordise this for next year.
We have also contacted the other Car Clubs who will also have a display with the same request.
Again there was no offence meant and the post was not directed at anyone in particular.
It is hard to believe that so many Subaru owners have taken up your offer and the club display should be very impressive.
Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

I will be going to the Rally but im Scoobless at the moment shes over in England getting the next stage of mods done! I will be in a very good position to video the convoy coming up the Avenue road as you drive up. I Live about 3 miles from the park there are quite a few gaspipe works coming from Moira to lurgan so you may get held up a wee bit, they worked all weekend last week i will try and find out if they will be active saturday morning. Looking forward to seeing all the cars and meeting some of you! Just out of interest do any of you own a Sti Version 1 ive got number 71 of the 200 build.

Lurgan Park - No offence taken, the site members have been well briefed about behaviour inside the park and I'm sure no one wants to let the sites good name down, it has alreday been suggested that if this event is the success it promises to be of meaking it an annual event......if you will have us LOL

Could you let the marshal on the gate know you will be leaving early and if there are any problems contact the Sector Leader or his Deputy and he will contact the CoC.

The entrance to the seacat car park, where everyone meets up, as it is a sat morning the car park will be open and charging so we will have to meet up just outside.....
I realise that not everyone will be able to make it to Sprucefield for the convoy, so anyone arriving at the venue slightly late can give me a call on my mobile number below and I will arrange for park passes to be given out near the gate. Obviously the fewer the better as I will be trying to set everyone up inside, but I know there are always "unforeseen" circumstances with scoobs...
