Lurgan Park Sat 11th August 2007 (Passes)
 

Thought I would suggest a meet for the 11th August 2007 at Lurgan Park for the one day rally event held there annually.

With so many new scooby owners on the site now, thought it would be a great chance to meet up for a chat, and a convoy to and from the event. It would also give us something to do when we get there as opposed to driving aimlessly about, or sitting in a car park.

I spoke with the organisers a few years ago and am sure there will be no problem organising reduced rates to get into the park on the day of the event. It would also let us park all the scoobs in one area and would be a huge attraction for the event.

I took my car down last year where it sat on the RMS stand all day, and all it got was admiring looks and a few interested comments......

Tis a great day out and guaging interest at this early stage should alow me to liase with the organisers to get this sorted if enough of you want to be involved

Hope it suits as many as possible and look forward to the replies and ideas that will probably be posted shortly LOL....

Brought this up myself with the ISDC at the start of the year, will be there myself, but will be on the rescue unit, was rescue chief last year, best seat in the house, Of course there is one way to get in free and that is to marshal, always need marshals for safety, sign on is usually about 8:30 but can get details to anyone that wants it.

If anyone is interested in timekeeping, marshaling on stages just ask, i can put you in touch with contacts who would be more than willing to use your help.

No specific numbers required, however I would like as many as possible to put on a decent show of NI Scoobs.

Will contact the organisers over the next few days and guage interest. Get talking to the other owners, the more the merrier obviously

Will be posting this up on several other forums, but am not a member on SIDC or ISDC so anyone who can help by posting onto these sites and getting them to register their interest on here it would be much appreciated.

There has been very little interest due to the ISDC having there shoot out the week before, disappointing to say the least, maybe something to do with the meet in Newry........ Dunno :brickwall

A555K, sorry for the late reply to all the recent posts, managed to blow up both my home PC and the wifes laptop ooooops.....

I drive a blue My05STI with PPP, reg MS 55 WRX (sensibly....)
