Took nearly 2 hours to come up ah well got on with some quests whilst I waited now getting my **** kicked by the gatekeeper.

 

You need to wait 24 hours in game time to get the new gate

As to the gatekeeper - don't 'cry' - get someone else to....

 

I menat 2 hours in real time so nearly 9 days in oblivion Tried the bone arrows at first but got my **** kicked, but with bone arrows and poisoned tears he went down in about 8 arrows

 

I'd read that you aren't able to take alot of stuff back out of shivering Isles - so I left my premium armour (Knights of the Nine) back at the chapel and went in basically buck naked. (so I could pick up the good stuff there and not forget my best armour) That was fun. I was relying on paralyse and tw*t tactics until I got SOME armour.

Good expansion set - I enjoyed every minute of it.

 

You can take anything out - even stuff you have been rewarded with in SI. I think you might be mixing this up with the Reference bug? That bug means that stuff you drop (and things you create) will disappear from the game when you save and quit. If you haven't done the official patch, do so now.

Finished shivering isle in just under 20 hours buggar all to do now, might have to get the mower out if I cant find a decemt game to play this weekend

 

What about the side quests?

 

I have done most of them, apart from big heads fork quest and a few others in bliss. There is some twisted humor in this game, helping someone to commit suicide oh and found another item dupe cheat

 

I also found a bug , if you kill all those tree things on sheograths staff quest (the ones in the tree in his palace) there is no way to open the doors

 

There is the 'Collect all the plants' and 'The Bestiary quest ' as well

 

A few got stuck on me and i had to kick them up the *** a few times until they made their way to the door.

Can you not respawn them from the pods ?
