The GD lights are fitted to come on as full beam....not everyday driving lamps...i.e when other traffic coming towards you...you "dip" them...hence not dazzling folk ...similar to normal lights ....when the head lights are dipped the GD lights are off...they only come on when full beam ....*S*

The Hella gas discharge lights I have are rated @ 35W.
Mine replace the crappy fog lights
I expect Rum's are the same too (but 90mm).
