Is that all? Thought I was beginnig to get excited again. Just had the car serviced - new pads and tyres all on, wheels all pointing in the right direction...insurance sorted, passport renewed, international drivers permit and EHIC (E111 as was) card all sorted. What's left?

Think we could do with some decent ones.........especially when we have to wait for MRK in his EVOXXXXX to do another 9 point turn
Are Shell aware that they need to stock up on V Power in France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria etc etc ?

I've got a pair of PMRs, they've been useful on the old Peak Tours, but I think they're a bit limited in range.
Oh, sense of humour already packed - have you never seen my old weather reports over in Muppets? Or the 'Spock' series?

Euros, Swiss francs, czech kronks or whatever they use ............
37 days to go, must pull my finger out and fit new brake pads all round.
All we dont want now is it to snow heavily like it did just before the 2005 trip leading a few anxious days for passes to re-open

This may be of interest if you didn't know.
E111's are no longer valid in Europe, you now need an EHIC, European Health Insurance Card.
Details are here.

Hmm, Ring Track Insurance - Where's the best place to get that?
And that 'Speeding Fine Cash' looks a bit ominous...
Must also look out an in-car recharger for the phone/radio as well.

You don't need cash for speeding fines Tony - they very kindly escort you to a cash machine and you can pay them that way (as I found out in France last year - 750 euro fine for ........well I thought they meant miles per hour !!)
Whats that square thing on the bumper of your car is it a house for sale sign:-)
Time for your to find a sticky one like MRK has me thinks
A sticky one has been considered
A few clicks over ?? You??
Oh Im a good boy, but a fair few friends have been caught.
Consensus is that 150kmh is fine on the French auto route any thing over 160km/105mph you are looking at a hefty fine or even temporary ban.
I now stick at 90mph ish on the Autoroute, as before do not speed in tunnels they get very upset and last trip I got caught twice on cameras end the end of tunnels, luckly only slightly over, never heard anything.
A26 is the worse earlier this year we passed at least 7 mobile camera units Belguims seem exempt to being pulled. Brits seems to be the preferred pray.

Recently converted to LPG, may make the fuel bill a bit more bearable, and double the range of the car (petrol + LPG)
