Just had my alloys on my Focus RS refurbed(missus fault) and powdercoated gloss black all for £180 inc vat, so your looking at around that price, but I have heard you can get it cheaper, but I went with the first company I got a price from!!!

As for spare set of wheels, Ive had to leave my car on axle stands as I couldnt get a set of wheels!!!!

Depends on what finish you want! Ive gone for Powdercoat which is supposed to be a bit harder then a paint finish!!! and would need to be sent to a specialist to have the wheels acid dipped to get old paint off and be cleaned, but im hoping for a very shiney gloss finish when done.

A paint shop can paint them black, which is probably the easiest way, but Ive seen a few cars with powdercoat and paint finish, and I prefer the Powdercoat finish!!!!

+ I got a phonecall from the place that are doing my wheels and said that they will knock £40 from the original price as Ive been waiting 2 weeks for them to come back!!!! Going to pick them up tomorrow(hopefully)

You can do, but when I asked a bodyshop to do them, he said that they would look crap!!!!

So I sprayed the ones myself on my old black scooby from gold to black(pic 8 posts back) which come out o.k, but after a few months they started getting stonechips on them! But after seeing the powdercoat finish on a friends wheels, I thought it would be worth the hassle of taking them off the car and getting them properly done by a professional!!!
