Cheers, the bad weather has meant I have had to abandon the full treatment, but will post up the pics as far as I got before it started sideways raining again. I just managed to finish buffing off the prime before it all started, so its all a bit streaky now
I'll re-attempt next weekend I hope

I am interested in this kit.
Can I use Meguiars Last Touch instead of the Jeffs Acrylic Jet Trigger?
Also to remove some local scratches should I use Poorboys Super Swirl remover before applying the Prime Acrylic basecoat or after?
Thanks.

Jeffs Trigger is a spray sealant, whereas as Last Touch is a quick detailer that adds no protection. Thus, they are very different products, and cannot be substituted for each other. All polishing work to correct defects should be done before using the Prime; just note that on hard Scooby paint Menzerna Intensive Polish is usually a better bet than the SSR range.

Im looking for a change to my polish as im unhappy with the results and more so the protection im getting.
Im using the Meguiars 3 stage system but the beading only seams to last for a few days at best a week.
My new car is a MK5 Golf (steel grey)
This isnt mine but its the same colour.
Would the Jeffs Acrylic work well on my car or is it to dark??
Also ive just clayed my car a month ago and applyed the megs system with weekly topups.
Would this need to be removed before applying the jeffs? and would I need to reclay?
Finally whats the best way to remove the old polish if needed.
Sorry for all the questions.

So i'm afraid you'd be best to re-clay but the end results will be well worth the efforrt!

Hi Rikky, we are expecting fresh stock of both items either today or Monday, please check back on the site then - my pm facility is switched off because I get swamped with them!

Got this kit the other day and i'm very happy with it. Money well spent in my eyes.
I think I read somewhere once about how you'd apply these products to the car, but can't seem to find it. Just want to check i'm getting the most out of it and using the right amount of product etc.
Cleaning the car on a weekly basis, which product/s would you use to keep the shine?
Cheers

as for using the right amounts i think it's something you'll learn through use, too much prime will be a pain to buff off so you'll know when you've put on too much. similar thing with the jett and as far as i know it's pretty impossible to put on too much glos.
i'm sure more learned people will have better guides than this though

Top advice above, text from the usage instructions on the website copied below for reference. As with most good quality products, less is more during the application process, so aim to use as little as possible to get thin, even coverage.
After washing and claying (and corrective polishing if required), start out by applying a basecoat of Werkstat Prime Acrylic using the white Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pad. Once fully dry, buff off this residue carefully with the Poorboys Super Thick & Plush Towel, using a spritz of Werkstat Acrylic Glos to help loosen the residue if needs be. To complete the process, apply a coat of Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger by spraying directly onto each panel and buffing off immediately with the Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towels, again using a spritz of Werkstat Acrylic Glos to help loosen the residue if needs be. To maintain the finish, simply quick detail with Werkstat Acrylic Glos after each wash, and add a fresh coat of Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger every 6-8 weeks until the time comes to start over by claying again.
