Thanks for all the great comments, I am really happy with the car, can't stop looking under the bonet at the moment. O.S Giken twin plate clutch took me a while to get used to but I am ok now

Default Marty

Olly started your car up for me today to hear how loud it was with the centre silencer, i thought it was just about right for noise level so bought the same one, does it seem ok from inside the car?

The exhaust is still loud but only when you open the car up,when cruising it is o.k.
I had this exhaust system on (centre, back box and down pipe ) before but since the rebuild and twisted turbo fitted the exhaust is a lot louder than before
Sounds more like a rally car now ,popping ,loud whistle from the turbo and the waiste gate chatter

I saw you bying the exhaust i was the one waiting to pick the car up with my brother and dad in the waiting room

Car looks fantastic, may I ask how easy you have found it to get insurance for a car like that and at what cost? In my experiance it is difficult enough to get insurers to understand what the PPP is so not sure what they would make of your modifications.

I have gone with Competition car insurance, the insurance has doubled to what it was standard, but every mod is covered, they wanted receipts and photos which i gave them

Hey MartyP1,

Im glad to see the posative Respone with your P1, as some people think we P1 owners are snobby and up our jacksy.

Just shows with careful attention, planning and a bit of dosh that any scooby from a My93 to MY06 can be turned in to a real head turner with respect!

Might see you at Prodrive.

Monkip1.

Simply amazing.

A credit to yourself for undertaking such a project simply for the financial side of things.

RCMS are the dogs and it continuously shows in the work that they produce.
