Default My RCM prepared 550bhp P1

Here are some pics of my P1

Rough spec
2.1 closed deck block
WRC steel billet crank
WRC bearings
Arrow conrods
omega pistons
rcm uprated cams
14mm stud kit
ported heads
uprated wrc valves and springs
850cc injectors
6 speed uk gearbox
Carbon propshaft
O.S Giken twin plate clutch + flywheel
Garrett Rotated turbo and external wastegate.
RCM 3" exhaust
Ceramic coated headers ,up and down pipe
APS 720 FMIC
AP 6 pot brakes 355mm discs
plus loads of other bits that i cant remeber at the moment

then the boring bit of running it in

Plan is to have some fun on the drag strip for a year or two,also want to have a crack at a hillclimb

Awesome, simply awesome. RCMS are the best out there IMO. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for in this world and you get nothing but the best from them.

A bit surprised you didn't go for a reversed inlet manifold but hey, the spec you have is high enough. Look forward to more pics

nice car mate
saw it there when i went last few times being worked on. was wondering what they were doing to it. Its a beast, must really go. RCM always do quality work, been there for many things. Olly will defo look after you. Recommend them to everyone. Nice P1 mate, best one I have seen I must say. Enjoy it, im sure she;s worth every penny.

very nice motor!.How do RCM compare to scoobyclinic,workmanship and prices as i need some work doing on my type R WRC. Full remap,spark plugs,fuel pump and possibly clutch & flywheel.I live more or less smack bang between the two.who would you recomend?

Great spec and superb detailing as ever in there work.

Been a long time coming but well worth the waite.
6 days to go till i pick it up.

suspension still sitting a bit high in this one ,only just gone down on the wheels.

pic of the back of the turbo.

not sure on the 1/4 mile times yet car is good for high 10's
Not so sure if will get near this yet ,need plenty of practice

That is some peice of serious kit. Some people can only dream of owning a car like that. well done to all that was envolved in making that.

Matt Clark has done a stunning job on the car,really happy.
i watched him fit the intercooler over a few weeks,the first classic to have the aps 720 from the newage car on it,he had to do a lot of fabricating just to get the intercooler to fit.

After having a RCMS re-build done to a less exotic spec, I can imagine what your final bill is going to be.

But it'll be worth every penny i'm sure.

Putting a shield over the turbo (shame to hide it, but a lot of heat off the turbo and several things close to it)
