Cheers

Yes it runs fine although i may have a head gasket problem that i need to solve before i take it down the track

Im getting some pressure in the header tank and its forcing water out the overflow but im not sure if its down to air stuck in the system as its a fair way to the rad up front, i have got two bleed points in the sytem and im pretty sure i got all the air out as the water seems to flow round ok and all the pipes are hot.

If there was a bit of air trapped in the system could it cause this pressure bulid up? there are no other symptoms at all, no white steam out the exhaust, no crap in the oil or water and the coolent does'nt smell of fumes.

I suppose i need to do a sniffer test, if this is negative what about if i try an uprated rad cap rated to 1.3bar? im just thinking that now the coolent system is modified with the longer pipes underneath could this cause extra pressue in the system?

Thanks for any advise

James

Alright guys i have sorted the coolant issue out, it turned out it just needed a good run to get the rest of the trapped air out and i did a sniffer test just to check there was no leaking exhaust gasses into the coolant and all was good.

I had the first test drive today and i was really impressed, it seemed to handle well and felt quick altough ive got a slight problem selecting 3rd gear but i think the shift mechanism just needs adjusting.

I have put a video on the website for those that are interested...
