Thanks for the comments

Any ideas what i could make the front splitter out of? or maybe cover it with something?

Also, the escort steering rack was power steering but ive disconnected it all as i dont need it but will it be ok to use a manual rack?

Lol yeah i saw Top Gear week , the mdf is just a template i,ll be making it out of something else as soon as i decide how to do it.

Not long now mate, i will be giving your bro a shout for the trailer soon if its still ok? Then we can go and test drive it.

What are the wheel adapters if you dont mind me asking, i'm after somethign like this to space my rims to suit my flared arches....

Thanks James for last week for fitting my downpipe and the bit of welding work you did!!! I really appriciate the work you did to my car. John said that it was cold and there where a few little problems, but the car runs nice even better now.

Thanks again!!!!!


Ohh and great project, im sure it would be a blast to drive when its done!!!!!!!!

The front spacers i made myself they are in two pieces and convert 4 stud to 5 stud and the rears are a one piece that convert 5 stud to a larger pcd 5 sud. There are a few companies around that make spacers to what ever your needs, try ebay too.

well done on this project mate, as for the steering rack you would be better off using a non power steering rack from a mk5 escort OR a electric power steering pump from a peugeot as that is still fluid pump

cheers, Yeah i will prob go for a mk5 steering rack then as it dont really need power steering.

Going good cheers, and the project as took a halt for a bit as i still have no job and money lol.... but i start a new job mid feb so should be able to get the body sorted now
