When I put my turbo-jacket on for the 1st half hour or so it smoked badly (black smoke) and smelt of burning... this normal...?

Seems to have calmed down a bit now but obviously don't want it catching fire...

EDIT: nevermind just went to page 8 lol...

Ordered mine this afternoon and will recieve it guaranteed AM Saturday delivery......All for an Extra £5.....Fantastic service.

Only got one roll of 2" for down pipe though. 1" for tubular headers and a Jacket...Just over £100 all in....

Have seen advertised prices of £95 just for a turbo jacket from other suppliers.
