they are not poor, they are bloody excellent.
I ran v5 struts with Eibachs and they were so predictable you could really throw the car about with confidence...
I want Eibachs.
there is an alternative. it looks like Demon Tweeks are selling the whiteline versions in their summer sale for £80 ish per axle

Interested in a set of Tein's if possible - read too many threads regarding the Eibachs not lowering the car as much as people expected.

they lower approx 10mm, where's the problem?
Its the fact they are more progressive and uprated in performance that counts.
If you just want a lower stance (slammed as the kids call it now?) without care for handling then cut two coils off your existing set up and wahay you can be down with the kids in the hood

Our springs maybe made for us by Eibach but they are very different to what Eibach sell as their own parts. In broad terms, Eibach make a spring that fits an Impreza, lowers it and is stiffer on some models (not STi's as they were originally developed for early WRX). We sell a spring that is tailored to each model and comes with a bumpstop if it's necessary for that particular model.
Same applies to our dampers, we get them made by Bilstein to a spec that we have developed but they do not sell anything even remotely similar themselves.

MIke, I understand that the Eibach doesn't lower anything over the sti springs, but are you saying that in your opinion the sti5 springs I already have on the car are not worth binning for eibachs?
By all means PM if you prefer...
