Those who have them. What they like guys?

Go ahead a feel free to tease me.

Do you think these will work on VAG and GM cars?

Got mine today, anyone got them working on a MY99 classic, ours just won't connect, tried everything in the manual with no luck

Works fine on the WR1, so not the unit, shame as I wanted it for the wagon

Contrast changes no problem & has 4 screws in the back

Thanks to all involved, looks a great piece of kit.

If anyone gets it working on a classic, can you let me know?

Mine is waiting for me (got charged import tax though). Mine is a MY00 so will be interesting to see if it works. Only bought it on the basis that a previous post said it would work on post MY-98 cars. Which kinda makes sense as it was only the last of the MY98s that had a working/conforming OBDII connector (or so I was told)

Doesn't connect to my MY00 STi. Need some more time to play around with the settings. But page 21 on the manual says something specific about Subarus between 96 and 99.

Mine is all plumbed in now and everything working including the colours. Ran the cable down the front of the windscreen under the side piller trim down into the OBD socket. God knows why I couldn't change colour the other day.

Messed around with settings today and it doesn't work (on a MY00 STi 6). Just says "connecting ..." forever. Oh bugger?

My car is one of the last classics, so if it doesn't work on mine I can't see it working on any other classic. Would love to be proved wrong.

Hungrytang, yours was shipped on the 12th, it "should" have been there by now, have you tried calling the post office or anything? I hope it is delivered soon.

And, just to let everyone know. They were shipped as "electronic fuel meter" as I said they would be. When we fill out the customs form it requires a #, the # that was used was for electronic fuel meter, where it says "ScanGaugeII" has nothing to do with duties/VAT/taxes.

Anyone who is having problems getting the ScanGauge to work, please send an e-mail to me at groupbuy@linear-logic.com

Please include your car make/model/year and what the problem is, and anything that you may have tried to correct it. I will try and find some answers.

right when i got the nice looking display this morning i plugged it in & it would not connect at all. so i set the setting to auto & i tryed each one in turn but it keeped saying connecting all the time inc the pdi too just in case. so i went too my mate who is a car auto expert ;-) & he tested the unit in his audi rs4 & a4 tdi what worked with in 10 secs so we changed some pins on the obd2 port on my car from the web sites & workshop manuals i could find but no luck all the unit does is connect for about 2 secs and than goes back to the connecting screen.
on my car is 5 cables on the back of the obd2 port but the 5th one is just another earth !.

we are getting stuck now plus it was cold so we called it a nite after 4hrs on my car.

Ive spoken to the post office who were helpful as always
They carnt do anything without tracking numbers ect.

I hope it turns up soon too or I'll be 75 quid out of pocket....
