...such an amazing motor that 12 valve... 70 ponies too... 235bhp Nitrous system and I think hes in with a shot...If he can get the traction of course..
I think the spanish polos have adjustable centre diff too if I remember correctly.

As soon as i get my registation through i will pass on our kind thoughts and openly invite them along to our next run out in the twisty's,i will sit behind the vw guys and admire how the 65 bhp of pure power handles the snake pass whilst scrambling for grip on its 155/70/13 wheels ,understearing through the next corner, before plunging to its doom into the ladybower,or taking out some poor old couple in there rover 25 enjoying a drive in the country!
Would have had him in the twistie's
I dont think they are gonna allow me entry,as i put scooby owner and carbrook meet as my interests oop's

Tell you summat lads, the amount of times I've woken up in the middle of night in tears, wishing that instead of the STi sat outside I'd wanked all my money on a 20 year old Polo made entirely of filler....its just not funny any more!
Sounds like I missed a rather entertaining meet!

What are they on that lot, they seriously think they scared us off. We werent even bothered about them until they started slagging us on there website. Obvious who feels inferior.
The shame is, the only nice car they had, that really low silver Golf with the deep dish alloys, sounds like the biggest c*ck on there.
Shame really.

Nice one Mark, just about covers everything pretty much that i would want to say, and lays a gauntlet down i feel.
Like i said before, i do seriously doubt if any of the members parents will let them out so late again, so we probably wont see them around.
Would be funny tho if they did turn up to take you up on your challenge.
But, what i dont get, is why the slagging in the first place? We hadnt mentioned them until they started.

I dont know fella
The problem with these other owners clubs with a lot of young members, are just a wee bit envious toward high powered motors such as the impreza/evo/skyline etc,and try to justify it by slagging us off with our chioce of jacket,or the way our boot spoilers fit
oh well, told them to feel free to come along again, and join in with some respect and enjoy rather then turning it into a stand off if you like

Who knows Dan, seems that Impreza's regularly get a bashing on other car forums...probably because in some people's eyes they are very common and owned by shall we say...undesirables! I'd bet that 75% of the people that slag the cars off have never even sat in one, let alone tried one out for themselves!
Very well put post too Mark
