Hey Dougster! It's been far too long since our last dual mate! Once I get myself wedged into a nice STI we should really hit the track again!

He called me a couple of months before Xmas iirc.

Pete has been working silly night-shifts and also had PC problems.

Do we still have a resident translator if he does decide to post on here?

I think between us we can work out what he's saying... Might take a while to get back into the groove though, not had to translate any of his posts in SO long.

Hello all, this is more like it.
this forum works much better on dial up than sidc, and the people seem so much friendlier

And i can get the smilies to work here.

Definately nice and cosy in here these days...

Daz. I dont fancy the S4 i'm afraid, if i go for the RS2 i still get the classic quattro sound...best sound apart from the flat 4 rumble.

Johnny, RS2s are going on pistonheads for huge money!!

There is one I pass every day I may leave a little sign on the window as I guess the owner doesn't know what he's sitting on!.

Yep..thats the only downside about them.
Could probably walk away with a nice R33 GTR for the same money, but not as practical.

I'm happy to hear that BigRedV2 is still alive and kicking, have to get you through for a Dundee Meet... Maybe kick off some wacky races, in honour of the 'good ol' days'!!

Good to see you're still around (occasionally) Pete... Place would be lost without you!!

Jamie, I can almost hear the hearse pulling into the Church of SIDC to lay Scottish Scoobies to rest...

Cheers,
Grant

Nothing happened with SS.
Just some folk getting fed up with rally stickers and dump valves I think and have ended up reunited back here again.

I'm blaming/praising Drb5 for starting it all up again

If your keeping your MAF, you can also keep a re circ DV set up.
Either use your factory one or buy an after market one.

If your getting a re map and doing away with the MAF and using a MAP sensor then you can go down the woosh route with an atmospheric valve.

Sorry Frank.... Its gone.... I only know this because I felt a wave of disappointment wash all over me when I found out as I'd lined it up for myself.
