I am liking this a LOT.....

Is the tailgate steel..???? i have a mate after one, i would have thought someone would have made a fibreglass one by now...... maybe there's not enough demand....

That was the whole point, keeping it clean, no wiring or brake servo, a triple bias peddle box instead That helped to keep all the clutter out of the bay, not bad for a 15 year old golf pick-up ehh.

No it's the original steel one, worth a mint on it's own. I'm getting a drag net though for the pod as the gate acts like a huge brake. Best place to get a gate is try ebay.de or the other euro ebay sites.

IIIIII ip what we got going on here a engine bay as clean as mine i aint having it u biatch thats 1 clean car u got webby looking forward to seeing it at meet on sunday try turn up please get ya old mucka mark a drink lol

Well done a exlnt example and people all rdy tlking about it at pod aswell so turning heads thats for sure mate ..

Looks the daddies chap! You should bring that to Meriden on Sunday! I've had Mk2 GTI and G60 and really really want to do a Mk1 conversion before I get too old! LOL Maybe when I have more space and time.......

nice car, i used to have a 84' caddy, seriously done up too, twin 45's etc, on a digifant with injectors removed, brembos, lowered axle flipped on the leafs, compomotives, daytona yellow, recaros from rs500 etc, lovely motors, i will dig out some pics

It'll be there, not wearing the BBS Splitties...there just to cool for this time of year and they won best at show last year. Plus iv'e added new lips so there now 8.5j and that means it's time to flare the arches, it will look like a touring car caddy with those baby's on
