Nothing wrong with Gold, its your car and your taste!. I`m not into the full decals or this new trend in White wheels but thats my opinion.

 

I don't have a 1.1 saxo and I never have. What I have had is a large number of performance cars none of which had gold wheels or stupid oversize spoilers on them.

You are welcome to your own opinion as I am mine. Most people though are moving away from tacky looking gold wheels as they are in poor taste.

Similarly to the way gold watches are almost universally reviled.

Things move in cycles and just now everyone wants black wheels. A few are going white and this will probably be the next big thing. If you want to be cutting edge (in the uk) get yourself on NASIOC and copy what they're doing.
Black/anthracite = ancient history
White = so last year
Gold = the new rock n' roll
