TO be fair, of course a restuarant situation is an entirely different proposition. However, for all intents and purposes BB is a "Home" situation, and Shipla was doing no different, I would suggest, than she would at home.
What she does with her own fingers in her own food is entirley her own business. What she does with her fingers and anything to do with me is between me and my fantasies

I think the racism angle has been blown slightly (only slightly mind) out of proportion (in Jades case specifically, not so sure about the other two dim wits) but you cannot deny the vile group bullying.

Great post by 94 Impreza - the situation really is more about pink chicken than brown skin!!!

Trouble is mate if that buch of foul mouthed numbskulls represent English culture you can see why the lack of interest.

Yes, as low brained. insulting and racist a quote as from some others here - but why first pick on the reply rather than the cause for it?

With all the attitudes and negative vibes here its all going to go horribly wrong. No one wants to understand anyone any more; they just want to hurl abuse and scrap [like the three dumb witches in the house]. Everybody, repeat after me this is about about pink chicken not brown skin!!!

I agree with this!! It makes me sooooooooooo mad to watch them all letting her take the abuse but not say one word to the bullys! Then they have the cheek to talk to her about the event when it's **** all to do with them as they are too scared to get involved Where is their back bone?? Why not just say "What are you laughing for?" at Jo & Danielle to see what they say or tell Jade she is out of order or needs to take a step back and calm down if they don't want to start a "Jade Wup ****" on themselves.

If I was witness to that sort of constant bullying I would hope I would do something

Jade is an ignorant bully and Shilpa has only just now started to bite back after DAYS of abuse!!! She isn't stuck up, she's just more sure of her self than the 3 of them put together. She has been forced into a corner and has started fighting back but still retaining her composure which is more than that embarrassment of a female Jade has done.

Danielle is a disgrace and should also be ashamed of herself.

Shilpa deserves to win as she is the only one with ***** in there and I admire her hugely for remaining as calm as she has.

I wouldn't take Shilpa as a representative of all Indian people, she's had a very privelaged life and i would assume the majority of them don't think they are above anyone in any way. In the same respect all Indian people shouldn't assume she represents us, i mean "Is this the state of the UK today" i take as a personal insult and to be honest i'm suprised BB chose to show it considering the angle they are obviously editing the show to.
Yes your right about the Va Va Voom comment, but i took it a s troll comment and didn't react. Va Va Voom was obviously reacting out of anger.

As for understanding each other...
Britain now has mosques in just about every town for the Muslim communities, has employed and educated many people from many different races and cultures and housed those who needed refuge in this country. This is all funded btw by the British people, who recently have been under attack by legal immigrants born and raised, educated, given health care and housed in this country.
As i have said before Britain has bent over backwards for anyone who is in need of refuge, and its about time we started to see some sort of appreciation instead of constant criticism and domonstration of their rights.
Shilpa like all people from all cultures regulary welcomed to our country needs to start taking note of our beliefs and way's-of-life.

All the points being made against Shilpa, you could sit down and discuss with her and I think she would be happy to hear your opinions and learn from it.

Errr... if i was out in public i'd eat how they ate. The difference is BB is a popularity contest, to win you have to make the voting public like you more than the rest. She came here, she wants us to like her so why act as if you couldn't care what people think ?

More often than not, Mosques are funded with private money, not by the tax payer.

As for the "legal immigrants, born raised , educated etc in this country"

(i)they are not legal immigrants, being born and living in this country makes them British

and

(ii)Do these people not also pay taxes? They pay thier way just like anyone else.

Several times Jade has tried to explainh herself to Shilpa, with shilpa in tears when there was barely aq raised voice. Jade then kissed Shilpa before going to bed, only for Shilpa to tell everyone in the morning Jade was abusive towards her.
Its all "They hate me, They hate me" rather than "Tell me what i am doing wrong and i will try to change".

All i know is if i had a daughter and it was a choice between one who is thick, uneducated, rude, disrespectful and loud or one who is polite, respectful, educated and makes a living from having a "proper" career i know which one i'd choose.

All three mosques in my hometown were funded by the council, if they have the money to collectively pay for the building of a mosque why do the majority live in council housing?

True, but at some point in their family tree a member of their family has been welcomed and supported by this country. No doubt housed and supported financially at least until they can do this themselves.

Most people would deem ignoring people's advice and sticking your fingers in other peoples food as an act commited by someone Rude, thick, Uneduacated and disrespectful.
They are both as bad as each other.

Majority of who? Muslims? DO we know the exact percentage? is it proportionally any more or less than the rest of the UK?

You cannot possibly say who has been housed or supported financially or not. In addition to this, at some point virtually every single one of us has a member or members of our family tree that were immigrants. The likelyhood of you being of pure British blood, whatever that is, since time began is zero.

There is every likelyhood that you only need go back 3 or 4 generation and you will almost certainly have one or more person that was not born in this country in your family tree.

In one of the best programmes of last year, channel four traced back the roots of various well known racists and found virtually all of them had immigrant origins. Even better, some of the subjects, eg Garry Bushell refused to appear on the programme when he found out his great grandfather was black .

she may not stop eating with her fingers just because she is in our country but she has no right to put her fingers in other peoples food.

if she wanted to sample our culture in the BB house than she should have learnt a few basic things first.

she has rubbed up some housemates by being ignorant, and has failed to understand what she has done wrong. all she goes on about is how she is admired and put on a pedestal by her own country. she has also admitted that she is unknown over here.
when she was cooking the chicken she was adamant she knew what she was doing even though she had 3 people telling her she was wrong. she refused to back down and the dinner was ruined by her own ignorance but felt it was ok to rant on about more than one oxo cube being used. one cube doesnt stretch to 7 people, any idiot knows that.

Shilpa is acting like a spoilt child, a prima donna. she runs off to Jermaine when things dont go her way and all he does is wind the situation up by saying stuff like...'its becuse they are white...and its because they are trailer trash' WTF? racism?

if Shilpa had been white/English then this whole scenario would not be headline news. why is it that every culture runs off complaining when things arent going their way, what would happen if we were to do that every time a 'minority' person did something we didnt like....does seem like double standards to me..

the only thing that i have seen that could be construed as racism is the comment when Danielle said that Shilpa should **** back off home. i personally think she should if she cant live with the way that we live...

this is my opinion, i am not racist and i dont think this is a racist issue....yet

During that conversation Jade was being rude to Shilpa but trying to hide behind a fake mask of "I'm only telling you this for your own good" pretense, or that's the way I saw it.

Why should she try to change?? In my eyes she has done nothing wrong, she's just hard for them to stomach because she is so far removed from their life styles but there shouldn't be anything wrong with that for a rational person to accept.

And she is entitled to say they hate me, they do make it blatantly obvious.

I don't doubt that for a second. I worked for 5 years up until 2 years ago for Royal Mail. 90% of the staff were Asian, black, muslim, siek(sp) and so on. The majority lived in an area of my hometown specifically built as council houses, though most now own their houses. British companies like Royal Mail employed these people, gave them the opportunity to work over-time and provide for their families as well as the chance to buy their own house and own a part of England.
Now thats all well and good, i applaud their hard working nature and they deserve their own homes and to have earned good money. Now Royal Mail are building "Muslim only" toilets in royal mail branches across the country, purely because of their hovvering nature when using the facilities would mean every so often someone **** on the toilet floor. They would wash their feet in the sinks and bring up phlegm in a way that would make most people heave. They also were given extra allocated breaks to go to one corner of the sorting office and pray to thier god's while the rest of us worked away.

I have no problem with other cultures being accepted and adapted for as long as the way we live our lives is remembered and respected in the same way.

If a person enters a new terratory(sp) no matter their age, race, religion, sex they should respect the people already inhabiting said terratory. Racial intergration seems to be pushed at White British people when it should be aimed at everybody.

As for housing etc i lived in a hostel for 6 months, and immigrants of different nationalities would move in and be housed within a fortnight while i was there for 6 months and left without being housed. I live in a very multi-cultural town, and see the differences of treatment on a daily basis. If i was pushed i would actually say the White Brit is treated worse by its own government. Although i don't live in a council house now i am on the list and have been for three years. Every few months i get a letter from the council which tells you the amount of applicants it has housed recently and whether they are white/black/asian etc so yes i do read facts on housing.

My family may have only came here 200 yrs ago but they have fought for this country in many cases giving their lives when quite simply some of the newer generations of immigrants can't even find time to be grateful. On remembrance day i was in Sainsbury's observing the 2 minute silence while an asian man walked around chatting loudly on his phone.
