Other way round.

They started with the 20XE at 156bhp with coscast heads and forged pistons and slightly larger valves. Power dropped when the cat's came into play on the C20XE, not as a direct result of the GM head.

Both the 20XE and C20XE are fantastic lumps even by todays standards.

same size valves in all the heads early heads had bronze valve guides that were 13mm instead of 11mm but as said it was the cats that made them 150 not 156

and once again, they achieved exactly what they wanted, which is a rise out of Impreza owners


Well done lads, especially the ones that managed to think before replying rather than "astras r rusty n ****, ****ing crap innit"
