LOL - it is getting ever closer, but should be plenty of time to get things sorted.

Still need to select a turbo and ECU as at the mo both are undecided, but very important parts of the total package.

I picked up a reverse inlet manifold though - so that's a good buy as there are not many around

Happy New Year to you matey

To an extent you can be running on the current ECU until the decision is made I guess.. same on turbo but I guess you sold it?

Happy new year to you too!

It's a GEMS at the moment and it only has 1 map available - it does have a switch which alters the iginition timing by a preset amount but that is not the same as running 2 maps at the flick of a switch.

The Simtek has its advantages by all accounts.

yep - 2 full maps is certainly appealing.

but they dont do one for mine yet..

Motec looks like a good option for you as there are some new features in this that will suit you including datalogging and gps hookup.

I know its more of a pain but cant you simply load the different maps via labtop - takes about 5 minutes in total Max?

Steve - I want other features like datalogging too - plus the GEMS isn't the best out there for mapping - there are better options and I will have one of them
