What ? I'm not arguing this as its only my experience but as broadband technical support the only routers with default wireless networks are those that come from an ISP providing a wireless kit!

My home routers have never had a defualt wireless network... too many people who know nothing about wireless networks would have internet stolen

What ?

As a broadband user every single router I have owned or setup for friends(Dlink-Netgear) All have a factory default SSID and channel that they broadcast as soon as they are powered.
