Are you suggesting that all the cars from the TTS were in danger of getting damaged, or had this individual specifically caused damage to your car due to some disagreement.

If he is a serial car vandal, I apologise, but it seemed from the post that you and your car had been specifically targeted.

Warnings in this case should have been issued IMO, mods i still dont think are needed, posts can be reported to yourself or admin to be edited, the site can mod its self. Put up a barrier (mods) people will test the limits. And on a second note to the above, i aslo think you should have taken greater care as to who you choose, i think niether of the 1st two mods were a good chioce. Mick is a mate of mine, and i have also told him this before posting here. People who mod, need to take an unbiast approach to EVERY ISSUE posted, not some. And you also need to be seen there alot of the time, granted, people have lives to lead, but then they offered to do it.

At the end of the day,John you know how close steph gets to the pc,and there is a few times she has been close to "seeing something"wich was not hardcore,but close.if you were a mod i would not be upset if tou deleted a thread because it was inapropriate.You know me and do i have good sence of humour,i can tolerate most things.How laid back am i ? so as far as saying the first 2 mods are a wrong choice,your wrong,wr1500 is not here to say anything and i have always modded the site accordinly to what i see as acceptable.

When I deleted the thread, (that was put there to give the moderators some guidelines) at Andy's request, I made a comment on the replacement post why it had been deleted.

I posted a few comments about GMD which were from personal experience & I did not buy any of my Cars there , I thought about it until I went into the Showroom & service area
Those were my comments not the Forums
I posted things in Muppets & NSR none which I would class as **** though
that said I did not think of Johns as **** either
For what its worth I don t think an Internet Owners Forum is a place for Kids

Fact is, i posted that i didnt want this on the board any longer, i made my point. I asked that if you had any further issues to b taken up with me, or wanted it discussing further, to contact me by other means, instead you took it back onto the board and deleted the post where i said that. Breaing in mind, i now have screen shots of most of the threads i was involved in now. I dont really want to have to post them, but if your going to continue to make me completely responsible for, i will have to upload them and use .


I really cant believe this has been taken this far, i cant believe that you have felt the need to publicly shame me for the goings on on the TTS site

Not been on the board long, but its a shame if its gone for good as it was nice to have a smaller forum for all the local owners. It was a good way to chat to people nearby and meet up.

I hope the issues get resolved and the board is up and running again soon (with or without mods).

The site goes back online tomorrow, with ground rules.

1. No moderators (only myself as administrator)
2. No Nudity (no breasts, bums or anything else)
3. No foul and abusive language, gestures or abrieviation
4. No incitement of hatred (of any kind)

People that abuse this will be warned and then excluded from the site

My oppinion cant really be wrong in this situation, i cant think of 2 people that are the right people for the job, i would probably suggest a female though as one of them, as an unbiast oppinion, Julz would have been an option, normally would have said littlens, but of late, she too has felt the need to raise issue with people, and like a bit of clowning around, something a mod shouldnt really be seen to be doing, all IMO

Before I post, I must make clear that this is not Micky talking. I think it is as crying shame that a site could be potentially ended over something that has got totally out of hand. There are clearly issues that have become unacceptable to a family based site, and all I can hope is this can to some extent be resolved.

I may be wrong, but, it seems to me that regardless than some stuff getting a little out of hand, one person is setting out to cause trouble. What is a bad situation, is being made worse by what is now being said on this forum. All, to me, that is being said by John, is being totally antgonistic, and there is no way this is going to resolve what is happening now.

In no way I am saying that all this hassle is down to John, but his attitude is never going to solve this.

What has started out as a bit of fun, has now become a major issue, for one reason or another, which I am not going to dredge up yet again.

The person that I feel most sorry for is Martin. All he has tried to do is set up a site for all us enthusiasts, and it has went to hell in a hand cart because of childishness and inappropriate behviour. Martin has worked hard for some time in forming the TTS, and I feel that the fact he has tried to develop it further has almost been thrown back in his face with all that has gone on.

I think all concerned in these problems, want to grow up actually. Not only has a site been been ruined, at least for now, but how does anyone feel for Martin in all this.

No one can stop anyone from entering the forum and reading the posts unless it's a closed forum, and you can't get in without registering as a user and being 'vetted' first.

There is a difference between stating an opinion of shoddy worksmanship by a firm, which, as it is an opinion does not need to be proven in a court of law as opposed to claiming a 'wrong doing' that can.

Well, sorry, but my attitude was caused because all blame for all ****, all arguing and me personaly lowering the tone of the website was laid at me.

Now, i let this go, i decided to stop the ranting and raving and i said publicy that i was dropping this on the public board, if martin wanted to take it further, he could have done so be email, pm or phone, all contact details he has got already. Instead, it was voiced again on the public thread.....

Oh right, yes I remember

I had an account initially for reading for when before I bought my car, needed to learn a bit about them. I very rarely post on here because a lot of the time, I don't know the answer and am not overly fussed about posting just for the sake of it. Normally, I post only if I can help, or in this case, to give an opinion.

When the TTS board is back up and running, I'll amend the post to say rarely and not never . The fiver I'll add to and buy a round at the next TTS meet I can get to. Seems to be a worthwhile use of it.
