Go on your own then as my 3 year old lad was in the back and 'his wife' also had a 13 year old girl in the car. You want to put it on a track do so.

You also failed to mention that we had to divert as a road was closed as someone got knocked over in a quite village. Could have been some jerk reckoning he could do it at 70-80.

Sorry for biting but when theres kids involved and you see bull5hi7 like this then it gets my back up .

Well I would just like to point out that this person, no longer drives a Subaru and is a member of your group too, I have already been chastisted for my earlier comments and it was just a bit of banter with Liz, whilst Family Fortunes was on. (Wasnt watching it, but The Osmands won £30k for charity)

AAArgh I said I wasnt going to post on this thread again.

And I agree that you drive as you feel safe Little H, its when people try to push other people on that accidents occur,

Make sure you do mate, would be good to meet you.

Ive got a black WRX PPP and the missus has a blue Lotus Elise and apart from Hillclimb schools these are our first trackdays in our own cars so we'll be taking it relatively steady i imagine.

Looking forward to it!

Rasher, as you have not put any smilies on this post I assume you were serious.

I suspect that this comment from a SMACS member was idle banter as I am not aware of anyone in SMACS who drives like this. Some drive with gay abandon - but that's a different story.

We have various types of runs out, from 18 car drives around Cheshire to the 6 cars that went on a 380 mile tour of Wales yesterday. Both are very different styles of run (and for the Wales run attendance was resticted to specifically exclude families and novice drivers) but the same rules and attitude toward safety is the same for both.

Rather than listening to the nonsense posted on here or to some car park cit-chat, I would like to welcome you on one of our runs out sometime. Either as a passenger or in your own (rather nice) car. Then you can make up your own mind.

Bloody hell, handbags at dawn or what on this thread

At the end of the day we are all Scooby fans and love the cars. I mean who really gives a **** what club your in? IMHO no club is "better" than another. What appeals to one might not appeal to another. I for instance much prefer to be out driving my car ( preferably up the cat and fiddle ) and not stood in a carpark. But saying that i do enjoy looking at other peoples scoobs and the mods they have done. Instead of the bitching thats going on can't we all call it a day, start a fresh and have one almighty meet up? Think it would be a great day/evening and everyone of us like minded folk can get together, have a chin wag and possibly a drive out for those wanting to!

Cheers,

Gav..

Sorry Dai, I won't be able to make that date at Oulton

Anyone fancy a meet one mid-week evening at the Swettenham Arms? We've not been there for ages, and it has a massive carpark.

Piece of p1ss to get to... once you know the way!

I bet Tom would take you through the water splash at the ford too. Not the best idea if you're taking a certain Italian vehicle?
