Well, that was clever, first reply dissappeared, so read this ahead of the one above!

I was agreeing with BarryK. My probelm -
Once the "submit reply button" is hit, that page freezes and doesn't go away. I have to close the page to get rid. When I reopen the bbs page, the reply has bee received.
Seems like the nice page that pops up telling me the reply has been recieved isn't happenning???

I dont think its a server load issue. We have two identically specced machines with IIS5. A has a high load ASP system, B has a copy of that system, but less load.

Server A runs 24/7. Server B drops out once in a while. It's only ASP stuff that dies. I cant figure it out at all.

It is *not* a load issue though. It'll drop out even if the network lead is unplugged and the machine left to sit.

Sound similar?

Bri, again, interesting... no it is not a load issue, I bet that with the current server & software, Scoobynet could easily take 3 times the load it takes now.

It is (and I can only judge from a distance) an asp quirk, I would bet my left, errm, nostril for it

The only thing i can say which may be of some use is to use scoobynet in the morning, there is far less traffic and things do seem to work well then.

I hope we get the problems sorted soon.
