Let me know, I'd be interested to see how it holds up as I think my GT42 will probably want to lift the heads.. especially when it gets a 50 shot through it

well we dipped into the 10's today 10.9 all went well. we were babying the engine since we dont want to push her to hard with only 40 miles on the rebuild ( looking at the logs 2 seconds of the time was spent shifting carefully LOL) but it looks like it could be a 9 second car.
thanks to all for your help and I will keep this thread updated with progress.

WoW Ive just read ALL this , Im doing some alterations on my engine (well my mate is) And Im trying to decide what way to go cd2.3 or cd 2.5 ??? And Im still no wiser ?? cheers .

Why not split the difference and go for 2.4 ! Thats what my race engine was last year.

I a fancy ej20 closedecked and sleeved to 2.7 or just do the 3.3L flat six and be done with it

How is that configured please Andy?
I too will be going down one of these routes, although the 2.33 option appears to be the one for me at the mo for high power/ high revving/ high boost track application.
But I'm a long way from finalising decisions
