Mines been confined to barracks for a while now, a recce was attempted last night but the enemy was extremely hostile.

Serious advice: don't expect anything, just have fun; sometimes these meetings work, sometimes they don't. However, nothing ruins your chances more than looking like a desperate bundle of nerves because you just really want that second date!!
Oh, and whatever you do don't make the classic mistake of asking:

I used to work with a lad from rotherham, rum ******
he was telling me of his previous weekends exploits one day, where he was engaged in an act with a local lass, using a position normally favoured by hounds...
"so, she leans forward, pops it aaaaht, then grabs it and sticks it reet in't claypit!"
it went on to become an all time classic catch-phrase on site....i.e
where should I put this [insert name of item here] ?
stick it reet in't claypit!...
