sub 8 seconds is very fast, most cars struggle to get under 8 minutes!

all cars depreciate subarus especially very few cars could be treatedas long term investments eg five year old p1's selling for £10,000!! ~£4,000 per year type ra is also restricted to extreme end of market as most would not have clue about what it is/represents/spec etc so undervalue it nice carthough

cheers Martin I know what you mean what I should have said is that I will be keeping the car for quite a few years and after I lost a fair amount on my last impreza which I owned from new over 5 years I decided that going down the specialised route might be a better option second time round,ie when I sell a true subaru enthisiast might be willing to pay top dollar for a rare/mint low milage car if you know what I mean.

I don't post in the muppet forum.

Back on topic sub 8 minutes is quick, shame the owners don't go there and find out what they can do.

I think that he has made a reasonable point; which is that a 'Ring sticker added onto a car thats never been there is a little lame.

Have to agree.

I have had a couple of run-ins with Vapid. I don't understand why people like him join up just to be rude and stir up ****.

Maybe it says something about what that person is like when they aren't at the keyboard.

The thread isn't being ruined by me. I made a perfectly valid point put as politely as possible and as a result we have posts like the one above.

Ring stickers on cars that haven't been round the 'ring are a pathetic and pointless pose. Why bother?

I hardly see what's ruining the thread about that comment- it's the truth.

The above may be true, but why give people the ar$ehole by winding them up. The orginal poster wants to get an RA 'ring decal - SO WHAT.

If you knew where to get them, pass the info on. If not SHUT UP and stop making negative comments.

Have all Saab Talladaga's been on there? Very few Lancia Beta Monte Carlos competed there, And Alfa 155 Silverstones probably never saw the circuit. These were badged by manufacturers to honour an achievement so if someone wants a sticker on his car why not.

I don't think you've offended anyone mate.

Everyone has their view, and Vapid is intitled to state what he thinks.
However, if you look at his past quotes you'll realise he is only doing it to stir up things, as that is the reason he trolls here.

Myself i would only put the sticker on the car if i had been there.
If however i had enough to buy a Spec C which already had the sticker on the car (as standard) i certainly wouldn't take the sticker off....why de-value the car??? Surely it would sell for more with the original stickers on it???

Perhaps because the cars never been round it? No achievement, no sticker, sounds reasonable to me.

erm no, I thought maybe she wasn't a tosser unlike the fake sticker brigade. If you'd ever been there you'd know you get a wide mixture of vehicles.

Why do people assume that 'Muppets' is for imbeciles; when quite the opposite is true? The idiots are mostly to be found in NSR.

I know what you are saying Vapid - stickers shouldnt be on the cars unless you have been or on the way over there that day and want to hook up with others en-route.

For anyone that hasnt been - go do it and put the talk into perspective about 8 min laps... you have got to be seriously flying (and at that speed you will be...literally) and know the circuit well. Talk is cheap (as are stickers)

my Ring stickers are displayed with pride knowing that both myself and my car enjoyed it bring on the next trip.....
