if your car is before the facelift you will need to cut the inner wing to allow the pipe work to enter the engine bay, and all models will have to cut away at there front bumper to allow the huge intercooler to fit!!!

I fitted a hybrid to my 95 RA and had to cut the inner wing as well as the bumper.
Its not as bad as you think, the wing - I marked a circle with a coffee jar and cut it out in minutes with a jigsaw, the bumper I trimmed 25mm all the way around again with the jigsaw then took a bit more off twice to get a snug fit.
Didn't want to go down the route of cutting loads off and being able to see throught the gaps.
Took 2 steady days - think 1 full day is easily do-able.

I presume how soon we get them will depend on how long you are willing to wait for all the people to put their names down and hence get the intercooler at the cheapest possible price.
Personally, i think £225 inc p&p is a very good starting point but i can wait until more people put their names down and make it cheaper
