Hi phil if you read back a couple of pages theirs pics of cars with the ones fitted i also wonderd about the fogs but have been told you can retain them most the questions have been asked and the answers are in this thread thats what made me go for a 2nd group deal as we all have some feedback on the product. And from what i have read has been goood and bren who will be supplying these is a profesional outlet he has done other group deals on
ds 2500pads brake kits apexi induction kits, and prompt deliveries once he has got the stock in (which is on route as we speak so we should be ready as soon as he receives them weve got the numbers up allready so by the time their here we should have more on the list and the questions that have been asked will be answerd,
cheers kips
IM TRYING TO FIND A GOOD THREAD ON A FITTING GUIDE IVE SEEN ONE BUT CANT REMEMBER WERE WHEN I DO ILL POST IT UP

Kips, when you get in touch with Bren it might be worth seeing if he has any Apexi Power Intakes that he can do a good price on as well. After all, every single one of us who's having one of these FMICs will need to junk their airbox and fit an induction kit. IIRC the part number for the 96 v3 onwards classics is 507-F003, for the v1 and 2 early classics it's 507-F001.

If we can get the FMIC and the Power Intake for say £250 delivered... :-)

Guys can we keep this to a FMIC group buy?

Some of us may already have inductions kits, might be worth starting a seperate group buy if you want those?

Lets keep trying to get the numbers up for fmics

Spot on

I'd rather stay on this group buy as it has the numbers, so to speak, so I'll wait until we know for sure

I would like one of these front mounts but i have only one concern (fitment)
Looking through i have noticed that people who have posted fitting details are cutting out the cross member, surely that's not good? Hows every one else getting on with fitting?

Cheers

Kip, So should you fit the front mount to the cross member first then install pipe work? Prehaps thats why they cut the cross member, they installed the pipe work first. It sounded like they were saying the front mount was to big.

Cheers

Ah, shame... thanks for letting us know, though

All new-age owners, watch this space (or the group buys thread). I'll start it tomorrow, probably.

Well I'm definitely still in. If anything, an extra couple of weeks is better, cos then I've got more time to save up the lolly.

Kip, as you seem to be on top of this pretty well, can you go ahead and start up an Apexi Power Intake GB separately then? It was really just a suggestion to remind everyone else that they'd need to think about an induction kit. But if it's just me then don't bother, as I might well want to get hold of the Power Intake before the FMIC comes, so I might just get one off ebay or something.
