I was at the back of the first group when we went through the tunnels and I have to say the noise was amazing, so many different noises from different exhausts. I was laughing my head off, I always love driving through the tunnels with the windows down but last night was a real treat

yep with EBC disks - they smell like foods cooking when used hard - worked well though last night - and again today in the rain - I remember you telling me to be carfull in the wet - but they were better than expected.

 

Thanks for all the comments guys, good and bad. It was a pleasure to be at the front for a change with so many awesome cars and drivers following.

Deffo learnt from my mistakes i.e be at the front of the convoy when leaving the car park, not at the back and also allow sh*t loads of room to allow 18 scoobs to park behind you (preferably not on a double white line )

The next run I organise will have to cover some of the same route I'm afraid.

To be honest Paul, that's what I had planned last night. I was going to go through to make sure the plod weren't camped out and then park up between the two tunnels with my camera.

But Clare's little fight with the kerb put me towards the back of the pack so I couldn't.

There will be other opportunities for this, believe me!!

i found that everyone was going to slow for me on the last run and i actually stopped for a picnic whilst everyone caught up
