Anyone own a reptile on here?
A lot of people feel like you Lesley, you're not alone
They are lovely, but like you said, not for you, I wild never go near a spider because I hate them so I understand where you're coming from
DARKDESTROYER9, If I am honest, mine doesn't cost a lot to look after, he gets fed once a week on heated frozen mice and the other cost is electric with running the heat mats and lights needed to keep him warm and mimic the daylight etc

we have had the most huge spider in our flat this week... twice we've (read IPKIS) has put it outside and its comeback!!
Reptiles are expensive to start with, the initial purchase, and all the equipment, but once you're up and running they are quite cheap to keep

From: It's like finding a cocktail sausage, when what you really wanted was a rather large saveloy.
I'm just the same as Lesley... I can't imagine ever touching one let alone owning one!!
I've heard horror stories about rats coming up your toilet and I always check before sitting down... now I've got to check for these too!!

The babies felt like silk to touch... Baby snakes are so funny, they strike at everything... their fangs are so small though that they don't inflict any damage. As they grow up they calm down
