Please let it be noted (although I should really start a brand new thank you thread!) ...... let it be noted that LIDL did an outstandingly fine job in presenting the aforementioned Gearknob in a not unattractive piece of packaging, they allowed me use of a courtesy trolley to place the said item in, they allowed me - amazingly - to queue at one of their tills, they then scanned item into their superduper electronic product recogniser ... following that they let me remove the item from the shop in exchange for a consideration - in this case, £4:99.
I must say that the whole procedure went very well indeed, I would also like to thank the trolley maker, the treasury for the use of the money, my employer for exchaning my brain power into money, the person who laid the flooring, the electricity company for supplying light, the car park tarmacers for laying such a flat piece of tarmac and last, but by no means least, Subaru - for making a superb vehicle to enable me to travel to such excellent establishments!!
If I have forgotten anyone - please accept my apologies
There we go ....... no more pathetic than the other 'Thank You' threads!
