I would just buy a new one from a decent performance shop.
I had to wait for 90 min for the right one due to my car being on change over year. They got it wrong 3 times! sorted now but i wish i had saved up and gone for the h.k.s.

No point really changing it imo.

Just get a new normal one.

sounds good mate, you will need something to block off the pipe on the air intake, its really simple to fit, even i did it!

Rally cars dont have dump valves, the chirping sound is called Compressor surge, which is just air being chopped up by the turbo when they lift off.

a blow-off sends the air flow to the atmosphere instead of back into the intake system, they all do the same job, its just one make a noise there other does not!

a blow-off valve keeps the combustion maintained through the shift, the turbo and the engine keeps their rpm up better, giving a better response after the gear change.

With a "good" blow-off valve, you should notice that you are not applying as much throttle when you re-engage the clutch after the shift. This shows the engine is keeping the rpms up higher through the shift.
although no bhp gain is really seen my response is alot better.
Don't think you can actually tell any difference in response,
i certainly couldn't in mine,
sum tuners opt to stay with recircs as if you dump air to atmosphere (which has been metered by sensors) then you cud be over-fuelling slightly

Not saying you are just everything relating to what you said is in full in the other thread.
