The injectors should be OK for around 300bhp, the fuel pump
would also be on my list.

was already suggested the fuel pump, have been looking at a chip on ebay, have been quoted £600 for remap, don't suppose you know of anywhere cheaper?

The chip on ebay is probally the ESL one, which has had some good reviews on here from members that have fitted them.
That said, they won't be any good for your existing ECU if you want to run the TD05.
£600 for a chip and map is about right, try Scoobyclinic.

API and ScoobyClinic both offer custom-mapped 'ScoobyECUs' but I dont think that they offer particularly good value for money compared to an A'PEXi PowerFC. You might consider a generic 'ScoobyECU' from ESL or for simplicity: a Z4 ECU to match the TD05, giving you approximately 260PS on super unleaded fuel.

Stew,
Can I just check that the TD05 is not yet fitted, as The map I sent you is for a standard wrx wagon. Not a problem if so, i just have to send you a different set of chips, but let me know.
Thx

Hi Stew,
I imported a 95 Wagon which was a disappointment at first as it was slower than my 16v red top Astra which I had from new and had tinkered with. The 95 WRX lived happily for a few years at 260 bhp and then around 290 bhp with the addition of a 3" Revolution exhaust system, chip and bleed valve and ultimately my own ported headers and uppipe with a lift in fuel pressure but still on the OE TD04 and 380 injectors. Getting much more than that out of 380 injectors and TD04 is difficult.
I then carried out serious modifications and fitted a Link ECU. It was then 380-400 bhp subject to map and fuel.
I then swapped the Link ECU for a new Apexi and lost 14 or 15 bhp. No big deal because the car was very nice to drive with the Apexi which I had on for about 2 months. I then did some other work and put a SIGMA ECU on from Steve Simpson and we have only just mapped to over 6000 rpm but already have 420 bhp.
I am selling the Apexi with Commander, fitted and mapped. Would £700 be a fair price ? Regardless of wanting the Apexi, if you want more information on what worked for me just e-mail harveysmith1@btopenworld.com
