TBH the one thing i am suprised with is nobody has expressed concern about being so close to a Nova at these speeds. That speed in a Subaru is worring, but in a Nova must be a definate change of underpants afterwards!!!

The petulent child who started this thread seemed to instigate it to say the Nova he had a spat with was rather fast
He didnt race it up to 150 or 160 because if he had, (on the A road which he names in the title of the thread) he would qualify for the absolute w@nker of the millenium award...
He forgot this was a Subaru forum and unlikely he would find the driver of the car on here or any of his 17 year old friends (although someone did pop on and pretend to be the chap concerned).
I'm sure all of us have exceeded the speed limit in our time, but to have some n0b coming on here bragging about 150 mph races is bound to get anyone with a brain a bit rattled
Its you sir who should be getting the bus, before you wipe out someone mending a puncture at the side of the road, or a cyclist, or a drunk who's staggered into the road (all of which can happen on quiet roads at any time BTW)...
Hopefully it will just be spilt diesel and a tree you come into contact with next time...
We can put a post in the general section for comiserations to the tree

How do you 'train' to drive at 150mph BTW?
I really can't see how you can slate someone for doing those speeds and it then comes out you have done them yourself

Enless it was just a long runway, which wouldn't really class it as advanced driving. Even a blind man can go fast in a straight line, as 5th Gear proved.

Settle down children...... settle down
First of all i NEVER said i was big or clever for doing what i did..
If you wingers look back at the start of this thread you will notice i was interested in another car that impressed me... obviously not allowed on scabbynet
Moley, thanks for seeing the right side of the coin mate at least there are a few here that are real people and not PC robots.
Also i would appreciate it if the keyboard hero with the alias could tell their opinions in their real username.
You seem to have more knoledge of high end speed than Mr Andy Green so maybe you could give us the pleasure and remind us of the rest of the highway code
People like you give it all the billy big ***** when you have an opinion, and hide behind your ID
I didnt post in an alias when i declared what happened did i?
Besides all speedos are out so the indicated 163 could well of been 70 for all i know

Its running an external wastegated setup so given the quality of the rest of the car i would be suprised if this was less than 300bhp which is easily achieveable on that engine.
Its was a stunning little bit of kit <<<<<< THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS THREAD!!
