to be fair i fed up to the back teeth with this country
they give our money away ***** nilly to asif bujactor (spelling) and co so they can purchase house and nice expensive cars they get the best of our nhs wilst my young lad has to wait for an op
what the hell is the point id sooner move to oz and take the jibs at least they look after there own
but hey god save the queen
sorry just needed a rant this isnt aimed at ther scots etc my mum is a McAdam

I think the 'sweaties' are pretty pathetic in their hatred of the English. But if they want to remain bitter and live in the past rather than moving on to become a successful, mature nation, then that's their perogative!

I don't hate people that are English, but I dislike the stereotypical comments made on this forum. Banter is all well and good, but it's funny how the same people are scared to use it with other races of people

In terms of direct subsidy it is true that Scotland would appear to recieve more than it's fair share of support from the public coffers.
However if the analysis includes direct and indirect spending (i.e. location allowances, building grants, etc) the South East of England gains far more from public spending directly into the economy as the majority of government agencies are based there.
So in fact it is southerners who would be at more of a loss than northerners should public expenditure run out.
Oh, and remember that for a lot of years the money in the public coffers came from Scottish oil

PS Sassenachs includes most Scotsmen too as it means lowlander from a line that can be drawn through Perth and Loch Lomond roughly.

I think it is regrettable to see all this anti attitude between peoples of the the countries in the Union.
Nothing wrong with a bit of light banter but when the insults start flying it seems puerile and childish to me, signifying nothing of worth.

my new lad at work tells me the welsh also feel the same, this being the ones deep down in the valleys, apparently they all hate the English as well
