H/H meet on tour: The George and Dragon, Mountnessing 13/7/06
Having previously lived in Billericay ,for various reasons, the only one I would think appropriate would be The Dukes head. All of the others would have car park/ decent food issues or are complete dives.

From: It's not a Scoob, or even a Skoda, but 200bhp is on the horizon..
Don't forget that I did mention this - close to the Harlow junction of the M11

There is also another lovely pub about 5 min's from this one called The John Barleycorn which has parking for about 20-25 cars, a nice big garden (with a huge pond) does lots of food and where many years ago before it was done up, the Morgan Car Club used to go.
Just wanted to mention these.......

Incase you missed it on page 4...
This is a pretty well respected pub with beer garden and good size car park. I have eaten there and can vouch for the food.

Oh & Nice to get to finnaly meet you on Thursday evening
The place that you suggested looks great BUT ....
The main thing that we wanted to replace the HWH Meet was to find a pub really in that area ( Thurrock end ) I Just feel that with this new venue we may be creeping back down this way again
But the Aug meet , I Wont be able to make it got a little trip to an WRC Event to attend
Thats cool, I was mentioning it off the back off people thinking about the hungry horse which is just round the corner from the Horse and Groom but Horse and Groom is better
I don't know Thurrock very well so I bow to others knowledge of its pub life.
Nice to meet you all on Thursday, I came straight form a family day out to colchester zoo so I was a little knackered from looking at monkeys all day. Looking forward to Thorpe Park next month.

Colchester Zoo is really good, lots to see and we still had more to do, but by the 6th hour we had had enough. We went for the kids birthdays but to be honest if you went without kids you would be able to see more, as they tend to want to keep moving on to see the next monkey!. Worth a visit if you haven't been, and he lives there.

This is specially for you Frayz!!!
Thanks Mate
