as i am going for a conversion and will need to change the clutch and gearbox anyway, can i get an upgraded clutch and fit it on my car without having the conversion done first. or would i be better off changing the clutch and gearbox together then going for the conversion at a later date...anyone?
Nope, effectively, the clutch set up on a non turbo car is completely different to a turbo. So if you buy a Turbo clutch it won't / can't be fitted

Am I reading this right ? your conversion is from non Turbo to turbo ??

will it make a difference if i had a new clutch and gear box? prolly wont. i would have the conversion done now but my mum is ill and i need my car
there has got to be a way round this, £500 is a lot of cash to waste for just 6 months
yep i am going non to turbo but i wont be able to afford it if i have to do the clutch now

i dont know what to do

PS seriously, I didn't expect any different, we have hundreds of these out there nowadays - yet to have a complaint.

. if i dont get in the low 12s then that 6500 will be 7500
first 1 used to stink and slip like f..k
