It's still there, it's just a US style truck with a long bonnet on it, which has come open and is obscuring the cab, look for the wing mirrors!

I still advise people to give military vehicles a wide berth - especially on the motorways.
Been there done that! I was a passanger in a landy heading down to Oakhampten, I was a sleep in the passanger seat when teh driver fell asleep, and started weaving across the road, we eventually got boxed in by 2 four tonnes and forced onto the hard shoulder. First thing I new about it all was getting dragged out the landy

Most likely didnt tighten the chains correctly securing the wagon. It then shifted upsetting C of G. If the CRAARV it had been driving any distance before hand the suspension will have raised before loading. This is because they use HydroGas suspension units.
During the trip the loaders must stop after X ammount of KMs to check on the chains and re tighten once the suspension cools and settles lower.
In my experience they do drive like idiots. Not saying they all do but a lot do.

Each one I've loaded up on has. Less the times when I've had dare I say it, a Female driver.

Nice to see the trailer is wider than the load it's carrying, that should aid stability in the twisties

Hey, this thing probably has a combined weight of 60 tonnes. It straightens the twisties.

The tank alone weighs in that kind of order! You can probably add another 20T or so for the trailer and unit.

The new tank transporters when loaded have a combined weight of over 120 tonnes, depending on the type of vehicle being carried.
The transporter alone is nearly 80 tonnes IIRC. Sure someone will put me right on this..

I'm not surprised, the DROPS I used to drive was 15 Tonne unladen, 30T with a loaded rack and that's just as a riged, put a trailer on it and you've got another 25T or so.
