Of course Subaru's are ugly, but nobody has devoted half of top gear airtime lying through their backteeth about how devestatingly gorgeous it looks!

Front headlamps all wrong where they recess into the front wings, rear boot over hang again looks terrible from the side threee quarter view. After a few Jaguar die hards buy them they will be piling up at the dealers unsold so you should get a massive discount off one. Then the re sale values will plummet causing more distress marketing before they shut the plant down for good and the workers lose there jobs, I give it two years as Clarkson say's not a bad job on a shoe string, same as XJS, XJS facelift, XK8 ect.

It's the ongoing fordification of Jaguar. New models have much better interior and luggage space, but look ugly. The new XJ has spliced with Scorpio genes I think.
If you want a supremely functional car, buy a bleedin merc I say.

Wicked bit of cinematography though eh!!!
The lines and proportions are good on the old Jag, not that different to an Aston though, and I agree the details around the lights etc look cheap and un-distinctive. I wouldn't spend my money on that. Seen a few around London thoughs, so some people have!

Clarkson had to be nice as Ford when supplying his GT; it had a special cut out transmitter installed, which would incapacitate his car at any of his Tom Foolery against the Blue Oval.
Problem is, as with all big companies, people forgot what the button did & keep hitting hit hoping for something to happen. It does just 3000 miles away
