mind you if you've 400+ in your 06 you might JUST beat my Classic
And i wave to anything that has a SUBARU badge on the front, even the big chested lady with the subaru tee-shirt on walking down the street

I don't mean it in a nasty way but most new age owners are grumpy old men who don't give a sh*t about the scooby way of life!. Deffo more classic owners acknowlede each other, and anyway its by far the better shape.
I had the option with finances to purchase new age or classic and I didn't take 2 minutes to make up my mind what to go for. Only thing with classic is the interior is a bit crap, but outside it's much nicer!

Because in my experience most new age drivers are in there l8 40's or 50's and just give puzzled looks when you wave or flash. Not all though just MOST!

I wave to all Subarus Legacies, Impreza and have found more acknlowledgements from Classic shaped Imprezas.
Doesn't bother me one bit if they don;'t wave back , bit like saying good morning, nice if they wave back but not the end of the world.

I find classic owners more ignorant, on route to JAE all new age owners waved back , all but one classic owner blatantly ignored me, the missus and my brother who was following in his s13 was disgusted at how many classic owners refused to be friendly . Mind you he said the same often happens with s13, s14 and s15 owners, why cant all scooby owners all love each other (that doesnt mean we have to hold hands by the way )

Legacy owner and a waver, but I find none of you *******s wave back.
Though to be fair, I've had one or two classics return the wave, but that's about it in nearly two years of owning the car.

Classic cars (what ever make/model) have a more cult following, the older they get the more this occurs. Newer WRX/STi will be driven by the sort of people (not all but enough) who once owned the impreza's classic drivers are now driving about, evolution.
I'm a Bugeye driver and like to flash or nod but usually in response.

I waved when i had my classic, i waved when i had my bugeye. i still wave with my blobeye, you do get alot of drivers who look surprised at me waving/flashing and to be honest the classics seem to respond more than the newages. acknowledgement from other scoobs seems to be a rarity lately. or is it just me ?
