Indeed, it is a basjoo. I've also got an ensete and a Sikkimensis which are massive also. I have been growing them for about 5 years now and they started flowering last year. Little bananas are growing from fringes.





The exotic fruit attracts many new beasts to the garden.



My Trachycarpus is also flowering this year which is very exciting!



My scoob obsession is secondly only to my obsession with tropical plants, and I am fully aware that this makes me a bit

But its a great hobby, honest
