Nothing wrong with a quick Nova (or Corsa), but you do fight against the torque steer and all that weight up front with the 2litre and turbo lumps.
As adrenaline-filled suicide boxes, I can see the appeal.....

I was speaking to a guy yesterday who is building a 400bhp Nova. He sold his NA valver and bought a standard Nova and a calibra turbo engine. He is getting some 400BHP turbo in from Brazil. He is hoping to get 300/350bhp and 100 shot of nos

I am not sure who the turbo was from. He just said he'd been looking at turbos for a while and then decided to get one. Spoke to someone in Brazil hopeing to get it ASAP they guy told him about 28 days turn-around. He ordered it anyway.

I quite like the P1 style front splitter. The car now has a set of 18" white alloys on it and looks much nicer.
The intercooler is a bit more dirty too so kind of blends in more

TBH, 170bhp is plenty in a Nova... Or is that just me?

as i say above, its a cool toy that corsa, can be a nightmare to drive everyday, something 4x4 is obviously better. but, it does accelerate like nothing ele ive driven and isnt too bad at handling really.
good laugh of a car

Not everyone would rather buy an impreza given the chance Don't get me wrong I love impreza's, my dads got a nice bugeye wrx (yes a nice bugeye ) but I can't see why people are so narrow minded sometimes as to write something off just because its not the same as they have
I came out of a 300bhp Astra GSI (mk3) into my scooby.
The Impreza still isn't as fast from a rolling start or top end speed (Astra had the 6 speed box), but for off-the-line acceleration and going round twisties it is in a different league.
Loved the Astra though, and would love another one as a toy
