Thank´s for all the possitive comments :-D

My girlfriend is seriously quick now. In the beginning I was a little bit afraid when I let her loose with the car. But she manage the car so well that I am very impressed.

Last week i picked up the car from my tuner with the new setup.

I must say that the new turbocharger is the bullocks, no lag and a real powerful and smooth drag on every gear. I can really recommend the td05-18G setup. My tuner has developed a real good map that hits 1.45 bar and peaks 1.6 bar. We didn´t want to push the boost lever further because the fuelrails i got delivered and the injectors didn´t suit my Euro Spec STI. So now we use the stock injectors with a fuel pressure regulator. I will fit the right rails and injector this winter so we can push the turbocharger where we want.

The only thing that´s missing now is the handling of the car. Maybe a KW stage III coilover setup and some Whiteline goodies will suit perfect for my applications.

Regards
Johan

This week one of my friends and I held a trackday event at Gotland Ring (just like Autumn 06).

The result was 50 cars and a beautifully sunny day at the track. Some cars showed up was:

A friends Ultima GTR Twin Turbo (1056 hp)

This picture is real fun :-) A friends GT3 cup and his dad´s Volvo 140 rally car

My car

Another friends GT2 550 hp

Karin´s S2000 Spoon edition

Henrik´s RS4 PM Racing Edition 550 hp

Hċkan´s Alpina B6 2.8 (turbocharged 3.5 litre, 550 hp, 800 nm). One of the finest cars that showed up. Looks totally stock outside, but inside :-) many years of development in this car. Totally sick :-)

Beastpowers M5 (kompressor-charged, Porsche GT2 brakes etc).

Another GT2

Some random pictures

More pictures will come, and some movies also.

Regards
Johan

I have not checked that up yet :-) I will show up on Gatebil next year. This weekend I´m going to Ahvanisto in Finland for a trackday on Saturday with some friends. Probably the last trackday for this years season.

Glad to hear the 18g is doing well. Mine should be done in about 6 weeks. Can't wait!!

I did the Rear ARB, ALK and 4WG a few months back and that made a noticeable difference, corners don't exist. So lOOking forward to hearing your comments when that is done.

Keep us posted about the fuel issue, as i'm interested to know. What was the problem? As mine is also EU spec.

I got the side feeded rails and injectors. On my Euro spec enginge I have top feeded rails and injectors.

:-) I think you will be satisfied also.

Movie 2, in-car filming from my STI, Ultima, Bmw M3 CSL, Porsche GT3 and 944(951) Turbo Cup car.

Even more reason too;

Mod. Story to vaimo
Better brakes reduced distances, should anything happen.
More power able to avoid problems.
Suspension tweaks better grip/handling for the snowy roads of finland.

Perfect selling points to the vaimo.

A few pictures from a fair that was held one week ago in Stockholm.

Me and some friend have started a track Club that will both run in Sweden and Finland next year. A few arrangements are already booked, so next season will be great fun.

Now I´m just wondering what to do with the engine. I want more power. I have plans for a bigger engine, maybe a 2.5 litre or 2.6 litre. I have looked at Rigoli, Crawford and Cobb...

Some pictures of our cars from the fair:

Another picture:

The car has been put in the garage now for the winter, Yes I know 4wd is fun in the wintertime but all the salty roads make great damage on the paintjob in Sweden. So in April 07 the car will be out on the street again. And what the plans are for the car this winter will be presented after this christmas Öhlins are just one thing that will be on the car.

A wintercar was bought 3 months ago. The car has just been over a engine rebuild after blowing the headgasket when we arrived with the ferrey from Newcastle. The car contains 3" full system, Cusco coilovers. Bars in front, rear and in the middle of the car, Apexi airfilter, HKS dumpvalve, Gizmo chip, Wallbro etc. So it will be great fun this winter :-) We even bought ourself some spike-tires for som serious lake driving this winter.

Picture of the car:

Unfortionally I sold the Scoob a week ago

But Instead of the scoob I ended up with this

Audi RS4 B7 2007

The plan was 997 Turbo but the insurance price was out of the range, and after a testdrive in the Audi the choice was simple. I love this car :-) the sound, the engine, the traction etc. Shall be fun to test it on the track this summer. In april we will also take a trip to the Nürburgring

I would like to thank the people that found my thread sastisfied and for all the positive feedback I had with the Subaru.

Best Regards
Johan

Well, i did copy your STi a little Johan.

I took the STi stickers off the fog covers last week (for the cold air feed).

Enjoy the RS!

You'll have to post a comparison to the STi when the sun comes out and you can hit the track. Non-biased of course

;-) So it looks good now? :-)

Yes I will do that. I know for now after a couple of days driving that the car is much more heavier, but the engine suits that up real good. I can take out the rear end of the car and drift real easy in corners due to the differential of the car. The car runs 60-40 at normal but when needed it can go for as much as 90-10 or 10-90. Because of the V8 in front I think the front brakes will have to work real hard this summer. The Performance friction discs and pads never faded and they looked almost new when the season was over on my old STI.

Aye, it does. Just waiting to detango the lights, and clean it, before posting pics.

The new owner took down my old car to a dyno test last week. It produced 322 hp at the wheels, that means around 380 hp in the engine. The effect curve was very good with the summary that the car is very well tuned. So the new owner was very pleased with the result.
