Our local Tesco were busy updating their prices today while the wife filled her car up. She paid 96p/litre of diesel but as she was leaving the guys adjusted the price board to 99p/litre.

We go to war for oil (Iraq), and it gets more expensive.
I thought the idea is it gets cheaper, or is it the Yanks are taking it all ??
Only the Government to blame. Isn't it somewhere near 70% we pay in fuel duty ?
Criminal, how do we let them get away with it ??

its because finding new oil is harder . they are having to try and extract more oil out of the ground where they currently have sites. this is more expensive which does not help
plus china and indias demand does not help , as their demand for the black stuff (other thread lol) is going to grow more and more.
you see why iraq is important, but its important in other ways also.
