Immortal are as recluse as Lateral Performance for web access then!

May be you can find a moment please John to show us the doors?

Stock steel doors with real glass verses compo doors with perspex:

What saving for a car overall?

Graham.

John can you PM a rough price
Best bet is speaking to Andy, I would also suggest that john's prices dont reflect the RRP.

And he does have a website is on the way, but he's concentrating on making products

Graham, the weight of the door depends on what is ordered, john had quite specific requirements, which were accomodated to.

Immortals website is worse than Laterals, at least Lateral has a telephone number

Immortals number is 01937 849 849, and you need to speak to Andy.

As mentioned above, best to speak to Andy regarding price.
Excellent finish on the doors, Andy painted them as well.
There is a very considerable saving in weight.
I'll take some pics once the doors are squared up properly on the car ( hopefully tomorrow), as I'm sure you can appreciate, they were literally thrown on last week to get out for Sunday, no time for fine tuning.

I said just make them and Ill sort them out

They look good though, question is, do I paint them silver before the other colour? suppose I could allways flat them off again!

We all know we want to see some pics of the doors.

I would like to see if the door/window seal area is good enough for the road use I do so the inside won't fill-up with storm water.(for example).

Non steel door need door bars in the cage (for my Championship) so if you loose door weight , cage weight goes up, but still a huge net loss.

There is nothing to be sad about, with those results. Without the retirements, you would of probably taken every trophy going. Fantastic season

Fab season, so much better than mine!

I admire your sheer determination to get over those setbacks so very quickly, and you have the spoils for it too!
So well deserved.

Graham.

Default Many thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

After my previous self congratulatory post, here's a more important one. I would not have made it to half these events without:

Big thanks Andy.F, Mapping, telephone support line, moral support, last minute remapping which was probably detrimental to getting his own car ready. AndyForrestPerformance

The rest In Alphabetic order:

AlanG for Spannering for me at Doune when I snapped a drive shaft. He came out for a nice day out with wife and kid and ended up covered in grease !!! Dude

Immortal Performance, for fixing me up with some excellent quality weight saving bits for the car at excellent prices. Surely no one seriously trying to build a quick car can ignore the BHP/Tonne argument. Cheers Andy.

Kenneth Brown Motor engineers, Glasgow. Last minute Gearbox sorting, help, advice, been involved in motorsports since God was a boy. Anyone in the west of Scotland using anyone else to service/tune an Impreza needs a tune up themselves. Canny half make an Impreza handle !!!

Lateral Performance, excellent personal service, saving the day with last minute rebuild bits. With a price that makes me smile. Thanks Mark.

Wallis, thinks he's a tight northerner, where in fact he is one of the most helpfull/generous Southern Jessies I've had the pleasure to meet, cheers for the door Bud, let me finish a most excelent event (TOTB V)

Zen Performance, just when I thought my gearbox was fixed after a 3 day order-delivery from PPG in Australia, of the bits I thought I required, only to find 3rd gear was also knackered, Paul came up trumps and saved the day.. or in fact the season. What can I say Paul ?

All the others on 22B.com and here on Scoobynet for tech advice/support/bits and bobs at nice prices you know who you are. I'm frightened to list in case I miss and offend. Fanks very much.

Is that a hint of emotion? Careful, you may become a soft Southerner if you carry on like that

Steven

ps Seriously, well done John. Good stuff.
