Did a little more work in the last couple of days, engine bay now devoid of the bit that goes Vroom Vroom

Replaced Newage STi Rack with a 2.2 turn Spec C Rack

Modified Steering linkage with Classic Spline on one end and Newage on the other

Another wee job done today to aid in the 'transmogrification' from Hillclimb car to Circuit car. Oil cooler installed in the inner wing

Thanks KennyS for the help today

Looking good particularly like the ventilation holes from the spot welds should let a little air through from the top as well as air forced in from the front

John,

It's a great build you've got going here. I'm following with interest!

Out of interest, which age/version of car has the steering rack you've used come off? I ask because i'm planning the same mod but have been told that a V11 has completely different mounting points and I would need an earlier version. Do you know if this is the case?

Look forward to seeing the results on track! I'll be at KH a few times this year so will keep an eye out for you.

Cheers

James

Martin, are you advocating that I should fix my new 'Enginetuner' Setrab Oil Cooler setup using these ?

James I believes it's from an 06 plate Spec C, only thing different I needed was a pair of longer bolts for one mount.

John are you planning a trip down south this year?

I've not noticed your name on the Scooby Sprint Shampionship. If you are attending any York events give me a shout and I pop up to watch and photograph.
